It's a wonderful disc of four quiet, very moody pieces of the late XX century music. It takes several listenings to grow on you,but the effect is long-lasting and you want to come back to it again and again.E.Denisov came to prominence in the late 1980's and stands along with such giants like Alfred Schnittke,Arvo Part,Valentin Silvestrov and Sofia Gubaidulina in the Post-Soviet musical legacy.Highest recommendations!
