"This is an enjoyable collection of 20th century flute music. I am especially happy to have the Jolivet Concerto and Martin Ballade, especially when played so well and with exceptional support from the superb City of London Sinfonia conducted by Richard Hickox. Here is a prime example where the orchestral support makes or breaks a concerto performance."
