This is a very fine album. Thank you. I don't know why Taverner's music is so seldom performed or recorded.
Taverner's music is so seldom performed because of its extreme difficoulty, apart from its rare beauty. It demands virtuosity, intonation, clarity of voice and precision on the highest level. Only a few music groups can meet its expectations.
